The Christmas Sweater: A Picture Book
Its a good thing the mother in this story wasn’t French, or the poor kid would have been forced to boycott such a present. Was this book fact checked?

Some of the images were so explicit that I nearly fainted. Excuse me, but children’s books are no place for smut or debauchery. Utterly shameful.

This book teaches kids a great lesson that even if a gift isn’t exactly what they want, but it comes from the heart, they should be grateful to have it. In todays tough times and when kids expect all of the nifty i-pods and wii’s this book brings Christmas back down to earth and teaches a good lesson. Not only at Christmas but all year long.

I received this book promptly in 1 day (rather than the 2-day I got with Prime), and was able to sit down with my wife and read it together to our 6 (almost 7) year old niece. The illustrations are great, and it’s written just like any good children’s book. I was a little confused after having read reviews for the full-blown book (I didn’t really know what pieces of the story to expect), but our niece really got into it, and I hope that we can make it an annual reading tradition.
I’m not quite sure that she got the Christmas message, b/c she’s a distracted wee lass, but she was intrigued enough to be guessing what was on the next page before we turned it.
P.S. We got a call from Grandma on the way home to FL updating us that our niece had asked her to read the book to her a couple more times during the 8 hour drive. Merry Christmas!

I like Glenn Beck and what he stands for, and this book is just great for children to enjoy Christmas the way it should be. Will be giving it to my grandson for Christmas.
