My parents gave me this book and I hate it. Not only do I recognize Warren as a dubious bigot, but I know his stance on questioning scientific theory comes to a head with thoughtless maxims like “monkeys birthing humans.” This book is a 131 page logical fallacy. Pure drivel.

I am not sure there is anything new in the book, but I haven’t finished reading it yet. We are using it for Sunday School, and my lesson is from the chapter on celebration. I purchased the book used with a 2 to 4 day delivery. The condition of the book was as stated, and came in a timely manner. The shipping materials were good too. Would purchase again from this vendor.

Good points and references, well written, to many pictures that just add page numbers to an otherwise short book at a rather costly price. Might be a collector book since the Author is doing the invocation at Obama’s inauguration.

I thought maybe this book would have more personal stories or be alittle more fluffy and inspirational, BUT with all the said, this book is bascially the Christian faith and why we believe in Jesus. I have gotten through most of it, and it is a great bridge to share with another believer or unbeliever. This book answers the basics, but start with the basics is what my mama always said!!! Sometimes…the basics is all I can get right in my faith!!!! It is great to know as a Christian that even if I get it ALL wrong all I have to know and believe is Jesus is my savior…Merry Christmas and God Bless!!! J
